New Zealand headquartered hospitality software business Mobi is doing the rounds at Sydney and Melbourne fund managers as it looks to raise fresh funds.
Mobi had its adviser KG Capital Partners mail out flyers this month, and kicked off a roadshow last week to get some face time with potential backers.
On offer was $NZ15 million of equity in the 12-year-old business, of which $NZ8 million had already been spoken for by Mobi’s existing venture capital investors Capital Zed, Movac and Punakaiki. Mobi employs 100 odd staff and was used by over 900 restaurant brands like Dunkin Donuts, Opporto and Mad Mex. It had $NZ8.8 million annualised revenue in March from its software solutions for hospitality businesses across ordering, deliveries, loyalty programs and business trends. It charges customers subscription and transaction fees to use its software.
