Opinion: Elon Musk is no twit
Elon Musk, founder of SpaceX, points to a Texas- and Tesla-themed belt buckle as he answers a question about operating his business in Texas, during a Starship update press conference Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022, at a SpaceX facility in Boca Chica.Tomlinson: Will Elon Musk turn to mush trying to satisfy Twitter’s investors, regulators and users?
” : I hate seeing the daily papers devolve into the tactics of social media trolls, but it was bound to happen. In Chris Tomlinson’s view, I’m sure Musk is a twit. But to millions of folks rooting for electric vehicle success, Ukrainians who would not have internet access otherwise, and those still curious about the final frontier, he is not the silly, ignorant goofball Mr. Tomlinson would have us believe.
And if Mr. Tomlinson believes Mr. Musk to be the Chief Twit, wouldn’t that make all the people managing the platform and using it twits of some lesser importance? For his sake, I sure hope Tomlinson doesn’t have a Twitter account. If I were him, I think I would steer clear of the insults and try harder to put more adult arguments together.
