He began the speech by lauding Queensland’s “pivotal role” in Labor’s plan to launch a host of new initiatives to “boost investment, create jobs and seize opportunities”. “For Australia to seize the opportunities of the next decade, for our nation to generate the energy, skills, jobs, technology and investment that will power our future prosperity.Mr Albanese said the plan involved giving the new net-zero economy authority “every tool” it requires to support resource communities as they undergo a period of significant economic change.
“Delivering better and broader community benefit from renewable energy projects and fast-tracking the infrastructure that supports them, maximising the strategic value of our government investment funds.
