Outgoing New South Wales Minister Melinda Pavey has confirmed her son Jack is among a number of Hunter region soldiers who have tested positive to COVID on the same day she was dumped from state cabinet.
The Department of Defence has acknowledged four ADF members have been diagnosed at Singleton’s Lone Pine Barracks.
It comes as the Hunter New England health district – which covers an area including Newcastle, Taree and Tamworth – recorded 600 new COVID cases up until 8pm last night.
