A pit bull terrier has been reunited with her owner after allegedly being stolen from outside World Square shopping centre in Sydney’s CBD by a man previously convicted of stealing a dog.Baxter, a four-year-old female pit bull terrier, was tied up by her owner outside a shop at the intersection of George and Liverpool streets about 8.20pm on Friday, May 7.

A 38-year-old man arrived at Day Street police station in the city about 9.20pm on Monday with Baxter. He was arrested and has been charged with stealing a dog - second conviction.
