Owners said 'it's not been an easy decision' 😔

OWNERS of an award-winning chip shop that got a"shout out from Piers Morgan' will close its doors next month., have announced on social media that they have made the decision to"say goodbye" after 10 years due to several factors.

Lee and Johnny said the decision has not been easy and thanked customers and staff for their support.In a post on Instagram, they wrote:"With a heavy heart we have made the decision to say goodbye to our 10-year ‘Off The Hook’ venture. "It’s not been an easy decision to make, with many contributing factors… and tbh [to be honest] I’m still not convinced it’s the right decision.

"I just want to say a huge thank you to every single one of our amazing customers and staff, old and new, who have made our wee family dream chippy/ Chinese possible.They continued:"Kickstarting our journey with an oopsie pregnancy right after signing the lease, our Wedding three days before opening the doors, two babies later, a few awards, a Good Morning Britain shout-out from Piers Morgan, Brexit, Covid, a Chinese Kitchen and now a cheeky cost of living crisis.

A third person added:"Thank you for the great meals and top service and looking after us every time we were in. All the best in your future ventures!"
