Parents have been warned to stop using pram models immediately over fears a brake failure could cause serious injuries to babies and young children. Product Safety issued a notice on Tuesday recalling Stokke YOYO 3 frame models for prams for babies and toddlers, available in black or black and white. The prams come with a seat and canopy available in nine colours, including black, olive, aqua, stone, taupe, ginger, toffee, Air France blue and bonpoint beige.
The YOYO 3 frame in black and white has the product code 647101 and the affected serial numbers range from 142AA0044415 to 142AA0044564. The black frame has the product code 647102 and serial numbers of the recalled products range from 142AA0044565 to 142AA0045564. People are urged to check the serial number on their models, which can be found on the underside of the frame underneath the seat cushion.
