Premier Daniel Andrews has come under fire from another ally after his “wrong” claims about the Liberal Party exploring fracking.
The Labor Party has been hitting the opposition hard with advertisements and text messages to voters warning Liberal leader Matthew Guy would re-introduce fracking in the state.
Mr Andrews continued to double down, pointing to a chief scientist report which he said there was no onshore gas reserves which could be extracted without fracking. “I think the credibility of the two is in doubt just because of the heat has gone up in the argument and they’re desperate to cast shadows on each other.Greens MP for Brunswick Dr Tim Read said the Premier's claims on fracking were"wrong".
