Police remain on the scene of a crash involving a V-line passenger train and a truck on the Princes Highway this morning.
An investigation is under way after a V-line train carrying up to 50 passengers and a truck collided on the Princes Highway in Victoria's east this morning.
Emergency services helped passengers leave the train before they were helped onto coaches to finish their journey. "We thank passengers for their patience while we work to get them to their destination as quickly and safely as possible following an incident at a crossing near Kilmany," V/Line Chief Executive Officer Matt Carrick said.

Highway Patrol Officer Seriously Injured in Truck CrashA highway patrol officer sustained serious injuries in a collision with a truck southwest of Brisbane, Australia.
