SA Police look for the driver of a car that struck a 70-year-old man, who is fighting for his life after a crash at Goodwood.

A 70-year-old man is fighting for life after a hit-and-run crash at Goodwood, in Adelaide's south, last night.

The Goodwood man suffered life-threatening injuries after he was hit by a car on Goodwood Road just before 10:00pm on Wednesday near the Capri Theatre. Police alleged a white vehicle crashed into the pedestrian and then drove off heading south on Goodwood Road.Goodwood Road was closed to northbound traffic between Gilbert and Victoria streets for several hours last night while Major Crash investigators examined the scene.
