Former vice president Mike Pence has officially entered the race for the White House in 2024, taking aim at his former boss Donald Trump in the process.
The former vice president under Donald Trump, Indiana governor, and congressman addressed supporters in the state of Iowa just days after lodging official paperwork.
Mr Pence, a hardline conservative, sought to distance himself from Mr Trump, while promoting some of his achievements serving under the former US president.
