Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has taken a leading position on a popular pensioner policy which was rejected by his previous colleagues, according to The Australian’s National Editor Dennis Shanahan.

“It demonstrates the vast difference between the political antenna of Scott Morrison and Josh Frydenberg and Peter Dutton,” Mr Shanahan said.
