On Sunday afternoon , following a parade down the Mall in London tracing the seven decades of Queen Elizabeth II's reign, all eyes turned to the Buckingham Palace balcony.
After a four-day Platinum Jubilee during which the Queen's physical presence had been a constant question, it was unclear whether she would return. But as the People's Pageant drew to an end, the Royal Standard rose above the palace and shortly after, the Queen emerged to wave to and thank her fans.She was joined by future heirs Prince Charles, Prince William and young Prince George, appeared on the Buckingham Palace balcony.
Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall; Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge; Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis also joined the monarch.Prince Louis was again a focal point of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations for the final day.
