A Liberal Senator and Prime Minister Anthony Albanese have weighed in on the uproar over the Manly Sea Eagles pride jersey that could see as many as seven club stars rule themselves out due to their religious and cultural beliefs.
Liberal Senator Hollie Hughes has suggested the Manly Sea Eagles focus on rugby league instead of"making political statements" with its pride jersey.

The Liberal Senator suggested it is a"marketing decision clearly" and flagged the players had made their intentions known.
