Prime Minister Scott Morrison has apologised for taking an overseas holiday to Hawaii during the bushfire emergency.
Mr Morrison says he deeply regrets any offence caused as he rushes back to Australia following the deaths of two volunteer firefighters. On Thursday, swarms of protesters including Greens senators set up camp outside the prime minister’s Kirribilli House in Sydney where they said they would wait until he returned to “confront the climate crisis”.
