Police believe members of the Hamze crime network were the intended targets of a shooting that killed Sydney man Mustafa Naaman. 9News
New CCTV footage was released by police today which is linked to the shooting murder earlier this year of Mr Naaman.
Detectives have also released dashcam vision from the carpark where the shooting took place and are appealing for anyone with information about the vehicle, or the incident, to come forward. "I can confirm Ibrahem Hamze was there at the boxing event and he was also there with another prominent member of an organised crime network which was the Hamze family crime network," he said.Detective Superintendent Doherty alleges two members of a prominent crime family were the intended targets of the shooting.
"It links those two people who may have been the intended targets to the vehicle it also means the people responsible for the shooting followed the wrong target away to the car and may have thought it was these other two people."
