NSW Police Commissioner Mick Fuller has said he has 'concerns' about the behaviour of a constable who swept the legs out from underneath an Aboriginal teenager and pinned him to the footpath | sallyrawsthorne

The boy seems to respond: "What? I heard you from over here, I don't need to open up my ears. I'll crack you in the f---ing jaw, bro."

"There were probably other ways that the officer could have dealt with that matter, no doubt," Commissioner Fuller told 2GB's Ben Fordham on Wednesday morning. Commissioner Fuller accepted that the officer, who had a "clean record" during a three-and-a-half year career with NSW Police, was not in any danger at the time and held concerns about the officer's conduct.

The police's internal Professional Standards Command are investigating the incident and a criminal investigation into the boy's alleged conduct continues, although Commissioner Fuller said he did not expect the officer would lose his job.
