Emergency services were searching for a man in his 30s who went missing last night at Burraneer Bay, Port Hacking.
NSW Police said they were alerted at 7.30pm, with reports three men had been thrown from a jet ski into the water.The driver and one passenger — who were both wearing life jackets — were rescued.Marine Area Command, PolAir, Sutherland Shire Police Area Command, NSW Ambulance and Surf Life Saving NSW hunted for him for an hour before it got too dark.The driver and one passenger — who were both wearing life jackets — were rescued.
"About 10.40am, Police Divers located the body of a man in the vicinity of Shiprock Reserve, Dolans Bay," NSW Police said in a statement. "While the body is yet to be formally identified, it is believed to be that of the missing jet skier."The driver of the jet ski, a 44-year-old man from Dolans Bay, is in St George Hospital with suspected chest injuries, Police said.
