Police are investigating after the body of a 15-year-old boy was found in bushlands in Sydney's south-west.
Police were called to bushlands off Wilton Park Road in Wilton, south of Campbelltown, just before 7.30am today after receiving a call from a member of public who was concerned for the boy's welfare.Sailor found alive 24 hours after falling from cargo shipThe road has been closed as State Crime Command Detectives and the homicide squad investigate the circumstances around his death.He is believed to be a local to the Picton area.
"There may have been a group that was camping in the area, and we believe that persons associated with that camping event may be involved."The body of a teenage boy was found in bushlands off Wilton Park Road in Wilton, south of Campbelltown, just before 7.30am today. Anyone in the area since 6pm yesterday, who may have dash-cam footage or information about what happened, is urged to contact Camden Police or Crime Stoppers.
