An investigation has been launched after crash along a highway in Queensland’s Moreton Bay region on Sunday afternoon left two people dead and one with life-threatening injuries.
Police are investigating after two people lost their lives after a horror crash along a highway in Queensland ’s Moreton Bay region on Sunday afternoon.
The incident occurred along a stretch of the D’Aguilar Highway just south of the town of Woodford which is located about 73 kilometres north of Brisbane. Police have alleged just before 3pm a Mitsubishi Pajero station wagon was travelling west on the highway when it crashed into a Ford Everest station wagon which was travelling in the opposition direction.The driver of the Ford Everest, a 57-year-old woman, was left with critical injuries after the smash and was taken to hospital via helicopter.The 26-year-old man who was driving the Pajero was also taken to hospital for treatment for minor injuries.
