Police say they have linked two stolen cars to the killing of Thor Morgan, who died two months after being found with a gunshot wound to the head.
Detectives investigating the shooting death of a 25-year-old man in southern Queensland believe they are one step closer to finding those responsible for the murder.They say the 25-year-old and his assailants were familiar with each otherThor Morgan was found with a gunshot wound to his head in the suburb of Harlaxton in March.Police believe the offenders had been driving stolen cars in the days leading up to the shooting.
"Every day we're one step closer to finding those who are responsible for shooting Mr Morgan," he said.Senior Sergeant Paul McCusker says two cars suspected to be linked to the killing have been found. Both were torched. "These two stolen cars were later found burnt out — one in Felton and another one in the Oakey area," Senior Sergeant McCusker said.
