Three men are accused of being part of a criminal syndicate that allegedly imported almost 750kg of methylamphetamine in shipping containers into Sydney. 7NEWS
Police say the 748kg of methylamphetamine has an estimated potential street value of more than $675 million.They were all refused bail to appear at court later on Thursday.
NSW Police Commissioner Karen Webb told reporters the men allegedly formed “part of a criminal syndicate that was well-equipped and highly sophisticated”. “Sadly, Sydney’s drug market is one of the largest in the country with more methamphetamine, cocaine and MDMA consumed here than any other state,” she said.
