Patsy Stevenson and Dania Al-Obeid, who were arrested at a vigil for and have won payouts from the Met, speak to Sophy Ridge. Also on the programme, we'll be discussing illegal migration and the NHS.

The panel is now discussing the matter of Child Q - a 15-year-old schoolgirl who was strip searched by the Metropolitan Police in 2020.James Schneider described the situation as"horrific".

"It is right we need accountability," he adds, saying most victims of the police have not been able to"fight back". Today, the Independent Office for Police Conduct said three officers would face a misconduct hearing, with a fourth officer facing a lesser misconduct meeting."The strip-search of Child Q, a 15-year-old girl, at her school in Hackney caused widespread concern," IOPC director Steve Noonan said.

"A hearing went [ahead] without me, without knowing it was for the COVID fine, but I received no communication, and it was... had it not been public, and had we not had an incredible legal team of women that have really helped us through this process, I would have lost hope, to be honest with you. "And a woman, you know, people were being manhandled, and a woman put out her arm and said, can you come up and help? Ms al-Obeid hugged Ms Stevenson. She added:"I remember the women being heavily handled on the bandstand, and I was like, there's a split moment. "Maybe there's too many of us, we're standing against them, and they won't arrest us, and they will stop, they will leave us alone.

This was held at the height of COVID restrictions - and the gathering had been officially cancelled by the organisers. Despite this, people turned up. The vigil was initially planned by campaign group Reclaim These Streets , which cancelled the protest after Met officers threatened organisers with £10,000 fines under lockdown rules.

Ms Stevenson said:"It has taken over two years to reach this conclusion. It's been a really tiring and difficult process but it has felt important to push for some form of accountability and justice for myself and all women who attended the vigil to express our anger and grief over the murder of Sarah Everard by a serving Metropolitan Police officer.
