South Australian health authorities have ordered further testing on a person in the state who may have COVID-19, but the Health Minister declines to provide more detail.
South Australian health authorities say they are looking into a possible new coronavirus case which, if confirmed, would be the first in the state in more than a fortnight.He said testing would not occur today and defended not releasing more informationFurther testing has been ordered on the individual but Health Minister Stephen Wade declined to shed any further light on the person's circumstances.
"This one's only a possible case. Through this pandemic we've had a number of situations where a possible case has emerged. "The reality is that we often need to get clarification before a case is announced. This case may or may not be confirmed."
