.AlexanderWangNY just announced his first talk-show hosting gig. Get all the details here.
, the series will see Wang take to bathrooms—yes, bathrooms—at VIP events to chat with some of the biggest names in fashion and pop culture. The subject matter of these conversations is still under wraps, but Wang does promise that they will be juicy and off-the-cuff, as are most conversations that take place amongst people who gather in the hidden corners of the WC at a big party.
Quibi will officially launch in spring 2020 and was founded by former Disney chairman Jeffrey Katzenberg. Aside from Wang’s, the platform already has series in the works with Chrissy Teigen, Jennifer Lopez, Steven Spielberg, and many more. Wang is the first fashion designer to announce his involvement with the mobile-focused streaming service. “Being given the opportunity to re-contextualize the talk-show format is a dream,” Wang said in a release.
