Lily Riley is hot off a record-breaking powerlifting competition where she squatted a massive 240kg, taking home the Australian record as she eyes the world record.
However, the next morning she says she woke up and felt worse, admitting she was still expecting to compete in the powerlifting competition later that day.
As the pain intensified, on her mother and partner's insistence, Riley decided to go to the hospital. Reflecting back to that time, Riley says had she not dehydrated herself for the powerlifting competition, she says she thinks the tumour would have gone undetected and potentially caused more damage.
