NSW Police have released images of five people they believe have information about the assault of an Israel supporter outside the Sydney Opera House.

The first man is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, aged in his 20s, of solid build, and has tattoos on both legs. The protest at the Opera House, which took place as the sails were lit in the colours of Israel, descended into racist obscenities when a small group began antisemitic chants including “F--- the Jews”.
