PwC fired nine people for workplace misconduct including bullying, sexual harassment and data breaches during the past year.

that all the 82 accountants hired at the hub at the time were from non-English speaking and migrant backgrounds and were asked to work 80 to 120 hours a week.but admitted it was revamping the skills hub program in response to staff complaints. That revamp included pay increases to bring the income of staff at the hub into line with other PwC workers and additional training and development opportunities.

“We implemented a number of changes including a greater onsite presence from PwC partners and business leaders at the hub, and introduced a number of initiatives to better align the employee experience with that of all our people across Australia,” the firm’s transparency report stated.
