Qantas has ditched another major COVID-19 rule which will make travel far more attractive to many looking for an overseas holiday.
The relaxation comes after mask rules for Australian airports – excluding those in Victoria and South Australia – were ditched for travellers and staff.
Masks are no longer mandated on some some international Qantas flights out of NSW, WA and Queensland. Picture: News Limited Passengers are still required to wear masks while travelling domestically, to Australia and on flights to destinations where mask mandates are still enforced. Victoria is set to relax a host of COVID-19 restrictions from 11:59pm on Friday June 24 including the mask mandates for airports but it is unclear whether that will mean masks will not be required on outbound international flights.
