Liberal Senator SenatorMcGrath says the “brutal Armageddon-bringing” Queensland Labor Machine will do and say anything “they will lie they will cheat” to make sure it stays in power.

Liberal Senator James McGrath says the “brutal Armageddon-bringing” Queensland Labor Machine will do and say anything “they will lie they will cheat” to make sure it stays in power. A YouGov poll released on the weekend has shown a 3.2 per cent swing to the Liberal National Party in Qld giving it a 52-to-48 lead over the Labor government.

“If those numbers are real, we’ll have Deb Frecklington as premier and the nightmare that is Jackie Trad would not be happening,” he said. Senator McGrath compared the upcoming “ugly election campaign” to the “Fall of Saigon in a marriage with the Sack of Rome”. He told Sky News host Paul Murray Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has been the “worst Premier of this state since we got self-government” and welcomes the thought of the Labor Party wanting to run a “presidential campaign”.
