The Queen will miss a key event of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations after experiencing some 'discomfort' on Thursday.
Buckingham Palace released a statement “with great reluctance” to announce the Queen had experienced “some discomfort” during Thursday’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Picture: Chris Jackson/Getty Images On Thursday evening the Queen and her grandson Prince William attended the lighting ceremony which symbolised the impact she has had around the world. The chain of lights led up to the “Tree of Trees” which was made from hundreds of indigenous British trees and plants and lit up spectacularly.
