A small number of Queensland police officers who live in NSW have refused to get the jab required to travel across the border for work. The police union has backed officers refusing to work with police who are unvaccinated.

The edict issued to all Queensland police last Thursday said any officer who had not had at least one dose of a COVID vaccine could not be deployed to undertake border compliance duties.
