Premier David Crisafulli confirmed his government will repeal the laws after making the promise ahead of Queensland's state election.At the time, now Deputy Premier Jarrod Bleijie told parliament the Labor Party had "given up on the war on drugs". The QPS said it freed up hours of police time "to focus on serious drug offending such as drug supply, trafficking and manufacturing".
