A man who was part of an operation to import half a tonne of cocaine into WA is sentenced to 22 years in prison.

The 560 kilograms of cocaine seized at a house in Kalbarri last year.Siosifa Kolomatoagi Faiva was one of three men charged after half a tonne of cocaine was seized at a property in Kalbarri last year.

He had also accumulated a drug debt of around $130,000 which prompted him to accept an offer of $300,000 to help retrieve the drugs. Officers seized the 560-kilogram stash of cocaine, estimated be worth up to $250 million, along with mobile phones, and about $30,000 in cash.
