A lucky Queensland woman won a life-changing $2.14 million in the Saturday Gold Lotto.
A Queensland woman who says she only buys one lottery ticket a year has got especially lucky, landing a $2.14 million win. The woman from Springfield, Ipswich only realised her luck a week after the Saturday Gold Lotto ticket was drawn. She purchased the winning ticket at a Nextra Orion located at Shop 29, Orion Springfield, 1 Main Street, Springfield, on Saturday, January 4, the day it was drawn, but only just checked it.'I discovered the win only yesterday. I didn't think it was real.
When asked how she planned to enjoy her new multi-millionaire status, the woman revealed she'd use most of her winnings to pay off bills, but would set some money for enjoyment aside. 'It's a little boring, but we'll do some adult things like pay off the bills. I'm sure we'll go on a holiday with some of it,' she said.Across Australia for last week's Saturday Gold Lotto, there were six division one winners each in Victoria and New South Wales, and two in Queensland. Each division one winner is awarded $2,142,857.15. 'We're very excited for the winner and wish them all the best,' said the Springfield Nextra Orion owner, Vivek Ganesh. 'Its such great news.' The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4535 on January 4, 2025 were 33, 19, 8, 23, 10 and 31, while the supplementary numbers were 42 and 13
