Crowds will be able to see the Red Arrows fly over on Saturday, July 13 and Sunday, July 14
The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, which is one of the world's top teams, will fly twice on Saturday, July 13 and Sunday, July 14 at Southport Air Show . Based at RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire, they have flown almost 5,000 displays in 57 countries, by the beginning of 2023.
This year the team will display in dozens of locations across the world, including at Southport Air Show. They will join the Rolls Royce Spitfire, Wingwalkers, Black Cats and Typhoons. View the full programme at the air show below.This year, Southport Air Show has addressed guests' problems during the 2023 show in the lead-up to this year's event. Last year the event encountered numerous problems, including the Red Arrows cancellation due to poor weather, traffic issues and long queues.
"We listened to your feedback and we have taken action. The logistics for Southport Air Show have been improved for this year, with changes to traffic management and entry into the event." There will be more staff running the entrances and the organisers have introduced queuing systems. The layouts have been changed to ensure a smooth and efficient entry, according to Air Show bosses.
