Daniel Ricciardo has a guaranteed spot on the F1 grid for the 2024 season with Red Bull announcing he will remain a part of AlphaTauri’s line-up for another year.
The Australian’s contract extension has secured him a seat as one of the top two drivers on an F1 team again after spending the first half of 2023 as Red Bull’s third driver.
Ricciardo said he was “stoked” with the announcement which takes his F1 career into a 14th consecutive year. “I’m stoked to be driving with Yuki again next year and continuing the journey with Scuderia AlphaTauri,” he said in a statement.
