The national regulator for Indigenous corporations will extend its control over a South Australian Aboriginal corporation under ongoing police investigation, as administrators try to untangle a "labyrinth" of related transactions and entitles.

Adnyamathanha Elder Charlie Jackson said there was no accountability for the directors, or transparency for members before the regulator stepped in."That's the way the organisation has been managed in the past," Mr Jackson said.He said he was hopeful the administration period would provide better outcomes for the Adnyamathanha people.
