The Allan government has been accused of attempting to “hoodwink” Victorian voters after a secret document was released outlining “critical” risks with the Suburban Rail Loop project.

The Victoria n Labor government has been accused of attempting to “hoodwink” voters after a secret document outlining “critical” risks with the Suburban Rail Loop project was released following a three-year legal battle.

The document also grades the potential consequences of each of the 12 issues, two of which are rated “critical”. “They wanted to hide this document from the Victorian people over the last election and over the last few years, fighting to keep this document secret,” Mr Mulholland said. The lack of funding for the project is the first major issues listed in the Strategic Risk Assessment, with the approach taken to mitigate the risk including “maintain strict control over the dissemination of cost figures”.

“The state government has covered this up for the purpose of trying to deceive Victorians deceive the broad community this is taxpayers money,” he said.
