Billed as a discussion centered around “overcoming struggles, finding success and taking pride in Cleveland,” the two will talk about their experiences growing up in the city and the challenges they’ve faced. They’ll also share advice for young people on finding the path to success in their careers and take questions from the audience, too.
“It’s a real privilege to come back to Cleveland to celebrate the release of my memoir,” Paul added. “The book details how this city shaped me into the businessman and person I am today. To be able to now sit down with the Mayor of Cleveland, who I am lucky enough to call a good friend, is a very surreal moment.”. Everyone in attendance will receive a free copy of Paul’s book.
The 41-year-old Glenville native is best known for becoming LeBron James’ agent and close friend after a random meeting at the Akron-Canton Airport in 2002. His other clients at Klutch, which he founded in 2012, include James’ Los Angeles Lakers teammate Anthony Davis, Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green and the Cavaliers All-Star Darius Garland. Paul has also been in a relationship with singer Adele for at least two years.
