The messy Rinehart family dispute took centre stage at the WA Supreme Court this week.

His lawyers requested money be paid into his accounts by his mother at a time he was contemplating legal action against her over her alleged fraudulent dealings in the mid-2000s, the court heard.in the trial: whether Mrs Rinehart’s Hancock Prospecting owes past and future mining riches to the descendants of her father’s business partner Peter Wright.
Their lawyers claimed this week that the land now subject to the multibillion-dollar dispute was wrongly removed from a company they were beneficiaries of by their mother, who placed it into the control of Hancock Prospecting.
