Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Flea has shared how he feels “pathetic” for one of his most famous onstage acts.While smashing guitars has long been a rock star’s right, the Australia n-born bassist – real name Michael Peter Balzary – has posted about his regret over destroying instruments during concerts in the ‘90s and 2000s.
While it’s unclear if the message was intended to be tongue-in-cheek, fans of the rocker have responded earnestly to his post, urging him not to be hard on himself.“Part of the growing up process,” another said, while a third added, “We all did a lot of dumb things, trying to be cool.”Another fan told Flea how much she enjoyed when he threw his guitar around.
