Condition of roads near singer’s Harlow home makes it difficult to drive the prestige vehicles

Rod Stewart: ‘I’ve been driving these iconic Italian cars since the 70s, and I absolutely love and adore them.’Rod Stewart: ‘I’ve been driving these iconic Italian cars since the 70s, and I absolutely love and adore them.’Rod Stewart has said he is considering selling his five sports cars because there are so many potholes on the roads near his home.

“I am extremely fortunate and eternally grateful to be the owner of these five beautiful hybrid sports cars, which, in my opinion, are true works of art,” Stewart wrote on Instagram on Wednesday. The singer-songwriter has previously picked up a shovel to fill the holes along his damaged road near Harlow. In 2022, Stewart shared a video showing him making local roads safer with him and a team shovelling gravel from a lorry into a large number of potholes after an ambulance got a burst tyre and other cars were damaged. In another video posted on Instagram, he said: “I’m repairing the street near where I live because no one can be bothered to do it. People are bashing their cars up.

One of the first things a young Stewart went out and spent serious money on was a V6 Marcos GT. It was the late 1960s and the singer was experiencing the first flush of success in his career.
