Over the weekend, however, the site changed its tunes, reporting that, “The announcement of the Rolling Stones tour this summer has been canceled. The tour was including twelve shows in the USA and two shows in Canada. There might be a rescheduling for the fall.
The Stones were to bring its No Filter Tour to FirstEnergy on June 19, 2020, but that was postponed by the pandemic and ultimately canceled. The group hasn’t played in Cleveland since 2002, when its Licks Tour played at Gund Arena . The Stones ranked No. 7 on Forbes magazine’s new list of 2022′s highest-paid entertainers with $98 million.-- have not played in Ohio since drummer Charlie Watts passed away in 2021 at the age of 80.
