The former hospital support worker says she cried almost every day on shift because of stress.
Maternity services at The Rosie, part of Addenbrooke's Hospital, werein a report published by the Care Quality Commission earlier this month.
The former nursing assistant, who spoke to the BBC anonymously, added: "I think I cried almost every shift that I had, not because I was necessarily always seeing terrible things happening to people, although that was part of it - I kind of expected there would be hard things."It seemed like everyone was too burnt out to care sometimes, which was really, really hard, and I felt like I was taking on a lot of emotional responsibility for people in the unit.
Millie was in a bed expecting an elective caesarean section imminently because of health concerns over the baby, but it took place more than 24 hours later than planned, most of which she spent nil by mouth. "We welcome feedback of any kind from everyone who uses our service, and are always happy to meet with families to discuss any concerns.
