South Australia’s Covid-19 cases have again risen with the state recording 634 new infections on Christmas.

Of the new cases, 47 are children and 34 are teenagers.

From the total of 634 cases, 597 of the infections are under investigation as to how the person caught the virus.By Friday, the state recorded 688 infections.even though the new strain didn’t appear to be as severe as Delta.South Australia recorded more Covid-19 cases on Saturday. “We have caps in place with 30 people allowed in the household and we're asking people to strictly adhere to those arrangements,” he said. “If possible, hold them outside. Make sure you are maintaining good social distancing and hygiene measures. “We are concerned about the most vulnerable, especially over the Christmas break, so we're asking people to be very prudent in terms of meeting with older people.Read related topics:
