Bridgewater Poultry are recalling a number of their egg products with fears of potential salmonella contamination.
The products have been available for sale at Woolworths and independent stores in New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and Coles in Victoria and South Australia. A statement on Food Standards Australia and new Zealand says that Woolworths cage free 700g, Victorian Fresh Barn Laid 600g, 700g and 800g and Valley Barn Laid 600g could all be affected.
The statement urges consumers with products listing the following Best Before dates not to consume the eggs:Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice and should return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund.© Nine Digital Pty Ltd 2019
