Brian Denvir, 76, said a mix-up with the name on his boarding pass meant check-in staff refused to let him catch his flight
Because the names didn’t match, ‘inconsiderate’ staff stopped him from boarding, despite him producing a number of other forms of ID, he said. Mr Denvir, who says he spent 10 years in the SAS, was eventually allowed to board a later flight to Liverpool, free of charge.
