Radio personality, farmers market mogul Sammy Power dies aged 55
"Sammy Power was a colourful, funny, and gregarious person whose greatest quality was her unbridled generosity and kind heart," the family said in a statement on Tuesday morning.
"They respectfully ask that all speculation and comment cease and that the family is allowed to grieve privately at this time."Tributes flooded social media on Monday night and continued on Tuesday. Listener Janelle Kane wrote on Facebook, "I'm guttered [sic]. Her beautiful and wicked sense of humour dragged me out of some really bad days. I loved her when her and Dean did TripleM Breakky [sic] in the 1990s and even recently her videos with Mike Goldman were hilarious. I will deeply miss you."
