Calls for a complete revamp of the public grants process are growing louder after a new report into pork barrelling found the former Morrison government splashed almost $2 billion in Coalition seats.

The Grattan Institute’s “New Politics: Preventing pork-barrelling” found the allocation of public grants had been manipulated by both sides of politics in state and federal government.
